Kamai Chat Agency Requirements
What the current Kamai Chat policy document expects from an active agency, and what is off-limits.
Published August 7, 2026 · Reviewed against the current Kamai Chat policy document
Registering as a Kamai Chat agency is only the first step — the current policy document also sets out ongoing requirements for how an agency operates. Here is what to expect.
Host-Count Requirement
An agency should generally have more than 10 hosts. This is treated as a baseline for an active, sustainable agency rather than a hard cutoff enforced from day one.
Activity Expectations
- Hosts should generally be online for at least 1 hour per day.
- The policy document indicates an activity expectation of around 5 days per week.
These expectations apply to the hosts under an agency, which is why part of the agency's role is helping hosts stay consistent — see our host rules guide for what that looks like day to day.
What's Prohibited
- Recruiting hosts inside the app is prohibited.
- Promoting other apps is prohibited.
Supervision Responsibility
Agencies should supervise hosts and help them follow platform rules. Host violations may also affect the agency, so it is in an agency's interest to actively guide its hosts rather than simply recruit and step back.
How This Connects to Commission
Meeting these requirements consistently is what allows an agency's hosts to earn steadily, which in turn grows the weekly team income that agency commission is calculated on. See our agency commission guide for the full slab table.
Because host violations may also affect the agency, review the full host working guidelines together with any hosts you recruit.
